At the Armidale racecourse Festival (1 and 2 November) The Naturehood Picnic and Grubby Bucket Show hosted Dirtgirl Scrapboy and Costa the Gnome invites kids from 5 to 15 to join in nature-based play and song. Register for either of the 2 hour shows on Saturday and Sunday at the Armidale racecourse.
The food court has a delicious range of morning and afternoon treats and lunch items for your relaxed picnic under the trees or in the canteen chatting with family and friends. Enjoy the kids performance in the Grubby Bucket show and listen to music performed by Terra Firma Chilli Jam AJ Williams the Pasifika Choir and the foot-stompin’ Unicorn Drummer.
At the stalls you will discover new exotic and native plants and old favorites to fill every niche in your garden together with recycled books and tools and handmade treasures to add sparkle to your outdoor living area.
Chat with Costa our special guest! Gardening advice is given freely by the stall holders and you can learn from expert guest speakers and at workshops.
There are also our stunning regional gardens to visit in Tenterfield Glen Innes Uralla and Armidale as well as on the UNE campus from Thursday 30th October to Sunday 2nd November 2025.
