The Institute for Cybersecurity and Emerging Technologies at Rhode Island College invites you to our first New England Cyber Defense Professionals meetup. Join us on Monday, October 21st, from 6pm - 8pm, for an evening of food, fun, industry networking, and collaboration. We are inviting our friends from DC401, Providence Geeks, Boston InfoSec, and other groups and people immersed in (or curious about) the Cybersecurity and hacking community. Whether you're a seasoned cybersecurity expert or just starting out in the field, this event is perfect for anyone looking to connect with like-minded professionals in the industry. There will be some cool tech at the event as well, including (Flipper Zero, VR Drone, Microsoft Hololens 2, and a Double Robot.) Additionally, opening remarks will be made by the Institute's founder, Congressman Langevin.
