More than three decades have passed since the tragedy that struck the small Croatian village of Škabrnja, near Zadar, in November 1991.During the Homeland War, Serb forces entered the village — destroying homes, desecrating sacred places, and taking the lives of over 80 innocent Croatian civilians and defenders.
A new documentary film brings their stories back into focus — reminding us of the unimaginable suffering endured and the courage shown by those who refused to surrender their homeland or their humanity.
