Come join us for a Sacred Drum Making Workshop Saturday March 15th. Come take part in sacred ceremony as you birth your own hoop style drum! You will have the opportunity to choose the size and hide that resonates with you! You are embarking on a connection with the earth through the sacred drum. The hoop, a circle, representing the earth and the hides of it’s animal inhabitants come together to create sacred resonance. Which animal energy speaks to your soul? Will it be the elk, the bison, or the deer?
Debi, a senior Lecturer at EMU, and Alex, a retired middle school teacher, have almost 30 years of experience working with the sacred drum. Let us show you how to make your own personal drum for transformation.
In this workshop you will:
- Make your own 12” or 15” hoop s-tyle drum and beater
- Take part in a sacred drum connection ceremony
