The New Colony Six - the quintessential '60s Chicago Garage Band. Launched the Chicago Rock Revolution, hitting the local airwaves in November, 1965, and the Cash Box charts on February 2, 1966. The New Colony Six charted 14 times on the national charts.
The Colony, famous for ballads of love, sorrow, and joy, has enjoyed a large following of enthusiastic music lovers from near and far!
Between 1965 to 1972 the NC6 charted "14 Top 40 HITS" which aired world wide. Remastered editions of most NC 6 material has been re-released in, England, Japan, United Kingdom and the U.S.A. Since their 1987 Reunion show at Chicago's Park West the "Colony" has been one of the nations favorite acts at Special, Charitable and Corporate events as well as those GREAT SUMMER FESTS! Appearing and sharing the airwaves with such acts as The Monkees, The Beach Boys, & Paul Revere and the Raiders to name a few.
