What is a 0.5K Beer Run? This is not your average race! You've heard of the 5K, the 10K, and even the marathons, but have you ever done just a 0.5K? We're making it easy for those who prefer to enjoy their Saturday's with a little more laidback style! Sign up for New Braunfels' eighth annual 0.5K raising money to benefit local non-profits while not requiring too much "leg work" - did we mention that beer is included? The race is short, just circling the block and returning to the starting point. Not too fast, as we've added one technical element to the race that you've never seen. Race the block with a pint of beer, but don't spill too much or you'll be disqualified! The goal is to finish the race with your beer above the "spill line". Top three runners of the Mens's and Women's champion heat win prizes! We've added prizes for best group costume and best individual costume as well. So grab your friends and come dressed to impressed! We'll have lots of fun, entertainment, food, games, raffles, and more for you.
What does my ticket include? A ticket reserves your spot on race day for participation in the 0.5K Beer Run and includes an event t-shirt, race number, commemorative silicon race cup, swag bag from our sponsors and (oh, by the way) a pint of racing beer and a congratulatory beer once you've finished!
