✨New Beginnings✨.
A weekend of Mindful Compassion Meditation and Sound Healing with Dave Oldham and Steph Healy
.
Friday 2nd January 4pm - Sunday 4th January 2pm
Noddfa Centre, Penmaenmawr
.
New beginnings at the start of 2026.. a retreat into Sound with Steph Healy and Meditation with Dave Oldham at the Noddfa Retreat Centre in Penmaenmawr, on the North Wales coast.
.
Dave is an experienced Meditation Teacher having been teaching now for over 20 years. He studied under a variety of teachers and organisations and eventually produced his own mindful compassion courses that he facilitated in his hospice work along side his counselling practice and also for Macmillan the cancer charity. So he now teaches in his own style that incorporates all his learning and when leading retreats likes to adapt the practices to whatever seems appropriate for each group he works with…
.
Steph is a Sound and Gong Practitioner and Tutor for the College of Sound Healing. An ex-NHS Teacher, Steph discovered the power of therapeutic sound in 2012. During the years that followed she underwent a huge transformational journey finding healing through sound to be an elegant and profound form of natural healing. Living in Snowdonia it’s easy to listen and connect with the land and the natural cycles, which greatly influence her work. From these experiences and extensive training, she now runs a successful practice working with individuals, groups and students in North Wales (and beyond online).
.
Together we will explore how therapeutic Sound affects our mind, emotions and our physical body…and we will find how peace and silence complement this through Mindful Compassion Meditation and developing an expansive and open awareness.
.
All this and more based around the new beginnings that a New Year offers us in a beautiful, peaceful setting..
.
“Noddfa’’ is a Welsh word meaning refuge, a place of welcome and peace, a place where you can regain energy. It is also the name of the centre, run by the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Mary. Located on the North Wales coast in Penmaenmawr, which sits in the foothills of the wonderful Eryri/Snowdonia National Park - www.noddfa.org.uk/
.
So join us from 4pm Friday January 2nd– 2pm Sunday 4th January and give yourself this gift of discovery and potentially setting up the new year for yourself in the most helpful way…
.
Whether you are a seasoned meditator, practice from time to time or have no experience, all are welcome.
.
The cost of the weekend is:
£390 per person – please indicate if you would like a single or twin room. Most bathrooms and toilets are shared, but plentiful!
.
