NEVVEN is proud to present ”Sweet, Sweet Nectar,” a solo show by Danish-Vietnamese artist Minh Ngọc Nguyễn, presenting a new body of photographs that expands what is already one of the most unique voices in a new generation of Scandinavian photographers. His work is studio based and grounded on the use of still life, as much as it is able to dialogically be receptive and intelligently manipulating contemporary imaginary and media. Ngọc Nguyễn infuses his works with a vibrant interplay of references, quotes and often stereotypes on Southeast Asia, and his experience growing up in a Vietnamese diaspora's environment, furthering the depth of an already incredibly powerful artistic vision.
The artist will be present and refreshments will be offered by the multi-awarded Gothenburg brewery O/O Brewing.
