This year’s art contest and Nevada Fossil Day event is in celebration of April being Nevada’s Paleontological Awareness Month. The event and ceremony are open to the public. Visitors will be encouraged to tour the art gallery to view the artwork, participate in tabling activities, attend the awards, and enjoy the park. Students from across Clark County, Nevada, have been called to participate by creating unique artwork highlighting Nevada’s rich fossil history. This year’s theme is, “Prehistoric Nevada.”

Where: Check in at the Visitor Center
Cost: The $3 per person (13 years+) entry fee applies. There is no additional fee for this program.
No reservations required.
