On Sept. 17, the UConn Foundation invites all SSW alumni, students, faculty and social work professionals to a #ThisIsAmerica program titled “Neurodiversity: Navigating Campus Life and Career Building.”
This career-focused event will feature complimentary headshots, networking activities, and a panel discussion on neurodiverse individuals navigating the workplace.
Speakers will share insights on equity-minded support systems, campus resources for students, and workplace accommodations. They will also discuss how intersecting identities such as race, gender, and disability shape employment experiences.
This panel offers valuable perspectives on how we can shift mindsets, build systems, and recognize the unique contributions of neurodiverse individuals in every space.
