About this Event

Join Caroline van Diest, EMDR Europe Trainer and Neurodiversity expert for and informative and engaging CPD event looking at identifying neurodiversity with a key factor being to understand the individual experience. Following from this will be developing strategies to enhance trauma treatment by understanding EMDR and considerations to facilitate the EMDR therapy process.


Caroline has worked in a number of settings supporting clients with learning disabilities and mental health needs. She initially qualified as a Learning Disability Nurse, and is an Accredited CBT Practitioner. Caroline has an extense career workin both privately and for the NHS, with a keen interest in the area of Autisitic Spectrum Disorders.


Lunch will be provided for this event so please let us know of any dietray requirements. Any non Association member who attends the event can recieve a free years membership. Please speak to one of the committee members at the event.
