Rooted & Rising
A woodland retreat co-facilitated by Emily Edwards (withINsight Coaching) and Caroline Milne (Unmenopaused) where grounding meets growth and where will leave restored and ready to rise into your own power.

Overview
A retreat for Autistic and/or ADHD folks who menstruate that are preparing for, or in their menopausal years. You do not need a diagnosis to attend; if you suspect you are neurodivergent or self-identify we welcome you to join us.
Together we’ll explore the unique challenges of being neurodivergent during hormonal changes, while building clarity, understanding, and connection. This is a space for you to gather, ground, grow and strengthen your skills for self-advocacy.
Through gentle facilitated group coaching, nature connection, and restorative practices, Rooted & Rising invites you to step away from the noise of daily life and return to yourself: seen, supported, and stronger.

Who It’s For
Autistic and/or ADHD women who are:
- Pre-menopausal — wanting information and empowerment for what to expect
- In perimenopause — seeking support to navigate changing symptoms and experiences
- Post-menopause — still experiencing symptoms, or wishing to share knowledge and wisdom with others
Also for:
- Anyone wanting to better understand the intersection of hormones and neurodivergence
- Those looking for knowledge, community, and restorative activities in a woodland setting

A metaphor for your menopause
Info: In this session, you’ll be invited to work in pairs to develop a metaphor for how you’d like your menopause to be. Using natural items gathered in nature, you’ll bring your metaphor to life as a symbol you can take away with you.

Workshop: Neurodiversity & hormones, understanding the connection
Info: A workshop to support understanding about the intersection of neurodiversity and hormones and how each can impact one another. We'll cover the basics of neurodiversity, hormones and neurotransmitters - the menstrual cycle and the changes that occur at peri-menopause - how hormones impact neurodivergent people including executive function, sensory processing, stimming, masking, emotions and mental health as well as practical strategies and tips. The final 30 minutes will be an open, honest Q&A.

Decluttering for Balance
Info: Caroline will guide you through a gentle decluttering process - looking at physical, digital, and mental clutter that can quietly weigh you down. Together, you’ll create a simple personal plan to ease that load. This isn’t about perfection, but about making space for calm, clarity, and confidence so you can move through this stage of life feeling lighter and more at ease.
