About this Event
This semester, help your child find their place in a fun and engaging social group with other neurodivergent peers!
This social group is best suited for boys and girls, ages 8-12 years who fall under the broad category of neurodivergent (ASD, ADHD, anxiety, SPD, LD, NVLD, etc). Children need not have an official diagnosis in order to participate in this group. Any kids who could benefit from additional peer interaction and executive functioning practice are welcome!
During our time together, we will:
- explore and celebrate how ND brains work,
- foster special interests,
- learn from and about each other,
- create connections with like-minded kids,
- build social and communication skills with the help of a speech-language pathologist,
- unmask and just BE!
Group will be held every other Thursday afternoon from 4:30-5:15pm.
Dates: Jan 16, Jan 30, Feb 13, Feb 27, March 13, March 27, April 10, April 24.
Fee: If your child is currently receiving individual speech/language therapy on a regular basis with Katelyn, the fee will be waived. For non-patients, the fee is $15 per session or $100 for the entire semester. That's 8 sessions of fun and learning with peers and SLP support!
Following purchase, you will be sent a link to a survey. If your child has never attended before, please complete it so I can get to know your child a bit before the start of the group.
