About this Event
Do you enjoy playing “relaxing golf”? Are you looking to grow your business? Do you like supporting local charities? If so, join the Inspire You Agency, a division of Five Rings Financial, for our new Networking & Nine monthly community golfing event.
We meet once a month at different golf courses in the VA beach area. Open networking starts at 1:15 pm, we officially begin at 2pm and tee off around 2:30 pm. We’ll draw names for who you will play with to give you an opportunity to meet other business professionals, enjoy some golf and learn more about one another. Each month we’ll collect cash for mulligans, and everything raised will go towards a designated local charity.
This is not a super competitive golf outing, but an opportunity to enjoy 9 holes at a several nice, local golf courses, improve your game and do a little networking at the same time. We will not have a prize for the lowest score; however, we will have some raffle prizes each month. Bring your own clubs or you can rent clubs at the golf course. We play FL Best Ball.
After we've all played 9 holes, we will meet up, and do a little more networking. We are trying to limit each event to no more than 2 from each business category, (i.e., two mortgage company reps, two landscaping companies, etc.) This may take a while to do since we are just getting started.
While the golf and networking is fun, one of our main objectives is to help support local C. A. V. Charities (Children, Animals or Veterans) each month. We sell mulligans and raffle tickets for various donated items to raise money for these great charities. This month we are raising money for Connect with a Wish, a local VA Beach charity that since 2014 has been providing children in local foster care with resources and support to live well and grow.
For the month of June, we'll be playing at Cypress Point Course in VA Beach. The cost usually runs from $25 to $40 each, depending on the course. This includes 9 holes and one cart per 2 players. We'll treat you to the first drink of your choice.
When you register, we'll confirm there's not more than 2 in your business category. If there is, we will contact you and if not, you're locked in!! Initially we were going to bill ahead of time, but since we're just getting this started, we're asking that when you register, you commit and show, as we're committing to the golf course and on the hook for your slot.
If you rate yourself as 0-2, you may want to plan to donate to our monthly local charity by purchasing mulligans, which are opportunities to "do over" a shot. We'll be taking these donations in Cash Only, so please come prepared.
We MUST RSVP to the golf course the Monday prior, so please make sure to cancel your order if you're unable to attend by then. You will get an email from Angie or David reminding you to confirm.
