Net Zero Taunton Group - FREE! Come and join the journey as we create a shared space for Taunton businesses to collectively make a bigger impact through support and collaboration.
Meet at: The Firepool Centre for Digital Innovation, Trenchard Way, Taunton, TA1 1FH - this is a brand new centre being managed by Somerset Council to facilitate digital growth and collaboration in Taunton.
As well as all the usual support, discussion and collaboration opportunities, this time we’re looking at making our businesses more sustainable through the circular economy principles of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle:
Waste: Tim from Taunton Sustainable Living Shop My Carbon Coach will be taking us through tips and advice to reduce the waste our businesses create - plus on a personal level Tim will also talk about how we can all have a more sustainable Christmas! Also attending are Biffa Waste who will be on hand to talk about responsibly recycling for the reduced waste you do have, particularly in light of the new regulations coming into force for businesses next year.
Business Premises Move - Case Study: Simon from SRD Technology UK will be taking us through his company's recent move to new premises and how his team worked to ensure the move and the new office set up are as eco-friendly as possible.
Whether you are at the start of your net zero journey, or have already made some changes to how your business operates, this group is for you. Meet like minded local business people, discuss ideas and actions and decide what future talks and workshops would help you make more progress - all in a friendly, interactive and collaborative environment.
