Nestbox Making Workshop (family-friendly) - assemble nestboxes to create artificial habitat for antechinus and small parrots. Make one nestbox to take home to install in your backyard or on your property (per family) and make one nestbox to donate to property owners affected by the Little Desert bushfire to create habitat for displaced wildlife. Bruce McInnes from Laharum Landcare will be teaching this workshop. This workshop is co-hosted with Youth Nature Crew and is a family-friendly workshop - youth under 18 to be accompanied by a parent/guardian.This workshop follows other events at The Patch on Sat 20th September: Produce Swap 10-11am, Veggie Growing Workshop 11am-1pm, complimentary lunch for workshop attendees 1-2pm.
