Our nervous systems are constantly assessing our environment, taking in information relating to our safety, and activating processes within our body in response to the world around us. It's very easy to become overstimulated and disregulated in this fast-paced environment.I'll be offering a chance to slow down on this Sunday evening for an hour through a combination of:
-breath
-gentle movement taken from my study in Dance and Movement Therapy
-bodyfulness / mindfulness
-short visualisation meditation
If you have a yoga mat, I encourage you to bring it along, or a cushion to sit on if you don't have a mat.
This session is free, or you can contribute a gold coin if you'd like to help cover the cost of the space.
