Ever wonder why you think the things you think? Educating yourself on how you personally “code” orassign certain meanings to what happens in your environment is the first step of awareness. This is a
class to help you understand the sensing organ, i.e;, “your body or brain” and how to regulate it in a way
that supports your best self. We will cover topics such as identifying what the nervous system is, the
parts of the nervous system, how it works, and how to keep these systems in balance. A dysregulated
system feels like anxiety, nervousness, fast heart rate, increased respirations, higher blood pressure
values, higher blood sugar levels, problems with digestion, and more.
You will also be guided through a mindfulness meditation focused on building awareness of how
emotions are experienced in the body. This portion of the workshop supports greater presence,
emotional awareness, and a more grounded relationship with your inner experience, offering practical
tools you can carry into daily life.
