Nerina (35 Commercial Street) presents a guided tasting through the Peloponnese Greece’s storied southern mainland and home to some of the country’s most expressive wines. Classes will be held Fridays at 5:30pm beginning on October 17th followed by the 24th and the 31st for $35 per person and will take place both indoors and outdoors weather permitting. Each session features pours of hand-selected bottles—Moschofilero Tselepos Mantinia a vibrant aromatic white; Agiorgitiko Gaia Nemea a classic expression of Nemea’s celebrated terroir; and Mavrodaphne “Dalion” Markogianni Ilia a luscious sweet red perfect for sipping—plus a Greek cheese plate with the option to elevate the experience via a $15 small charcuterie add-on featuring smoky Metsovone cheese Loukaniko salami candied grapes caper berries toursi and rye rusks. Tickets can be purchased here. The series culminates in a five-course Wine Dinner on Wednesday November 5th at 7pm showcasing a curated tasting menu paired with regional wines for $85 per person.
