About this Event
Come join us for a playful and creative pottery evening at the gorgeous Kings Arms Hotel!
We’ll be diving into Nerikomi, a traditional Japanese technique where coloured clays are layered and sliced to create stunning marbled and patterned designs.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn how to:
〰 Work with two contrasting colours of clay to create your own Nerikomi patterned slabs
〰 Use slab-building techniques to craft a unique ceramic cheeseboard – perfect for festive feasts, gift-giving, or just treating yourself!
No experience needed — just bring your curiosity (and maybe an apron)! Whether you’re a pottery pro or just looking to get your hands dirty, this is the perfect chance to try something new in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
