Asheville's 2nd annual Nerd Pride Fest is gearing up to be even bigger than the first! Come on out Saturday, June 1st for fun, food, and friendship as we celebrate queerness through a uniquely nerdy lens. There will be local artist vendors, crafts, live music, concessions, raffles, and more to be announced on our website event page and social media.Some of the event attractions include:
-DIY pride swag crafts (bracelets, pins)
-Multiple raffle drawings ($1 per ticket)
-Board game workshop led by Jacob
-Tarot 101 workshop led by Gaby Rock
-Musical sets by Lurky Skunk, Jodi McLaren, and Holler & Crow
-Local artists and vendors
-Refreshments from Nibbly Onigiri food truck, Budgie's Bake Shop, and Elder Dragon Coffee Shop
Admission is free! If you're able, a $5 suggested donation is greatly appreciated.
All proceeds from this event are going to Tranzmission and Youth OUTright, two local nonprofits we've worked with in the past who are dedicated towards supporting LGBTQ+ adults and youth in Western North Carolina.
