Calling all Nature Nerds…Nerd Out at the Garden is BACK! Your quest, should you choose to accept it: embark on a nature adventure like no other at California Botanic Garden. CalBG, the Alf Museum, and Cosplay for Science invite you to enter a battle of wits with pop culture nature trivia, conquer your enemies by playing nature-themed board games, “sew” confusion with creative cosplay, feast at food trucks, embark on a native plant side quest, and more! Fun activities and challenges for all ages abound!
This festival of nature nerdiness will feature:
- A nature in pop culture trivia game.
- A pop-up museum from the nerdy educators at Cosplay for Science
- A board game extravaganza featuring nature-themed games for all ages
- Cosplay photo station and contest (with prizes!)
- Nature night walks intp the Dark Forest
- Creative crafts
- “Side Quest” native plant challenge that will have you exploring throughout the Garden
- Food trucks & more
