Come one, come all! It’s the return of our biggest annual event: NEPA’s Day Downtown Fundraising Festival, presented by Alan & Brenda Pugh and Family, but this year we’re doing things a little bit different! The festival will finally live up to its name as we take things to the one of the biggest downtown hubs in our region— the Public Square in Wilkes-Barre. As always, you can still expect to see something for everyone, from a vendor fair with 50+ food/craft vendors and a 5K/Fun Run to a kids carnival and adult games of chance, from Instant Bingo to a Big 6 Wheel. Raffles, a Bake Sale, a Scavenger Hunt, and more will also be part of the fun.
Brining the kids? We’ve got you covered too. They’ll be able to enjoy our Kids Carnival Corner with Cotton Candy, Popcorn, Carnival food, Kids Games, Face Paint, Balloon Art, Fortune Telling, and even some of Hillside’s Farm Animals.
That’s not even to mention the 8 hours of local, live entertainment featuring local theater/dance studios, bands, and the brand new “NEPA Celebrity Dance-a-thon.” And our NEPA’s Got Talent Show hasn’t gone far either… more info coming soon!
The best part is that all proceeds will benefit Hillside Farm’s Care Farming Services (their Youth Grief Camp) as they continue to provide local, disadvantaged youth who have experienced trauma with a fully-funded, week-long experience to heal through revolutionary “farm-based” therapy. We can not wait to support this fantastic cause, and know you can’t either… so come out for a cause! We’ll see you there.
