Neopets 25th Anniversary Birthday Bash: Nashville/Murfreesboro
40 cities across 13 countries have been selected for fan-hosted Neopets 25th anniversay celebration parties, and we are over-the-moon (or shall we say Kreludor!) that the Nashville, TN area was chosen! Please join us on Saturday, November 16th at Feed America First (a hunger relief organization located in Murfreesboro, TN) from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. as we gather together to celebrate Neopet's past, present, and future! Get ready for:
- A Soup Kitchen volunteer station to pack food boxes for our TN neighbors in need
- Complimentary Neopets-themed snacks, desserts, and drinks
- IRL void essence hunt, Neopets trivia, photo booth, and more Neopian lore and activites brought to life
- Merch giveaways and virtual prize codes provided by Neopets, as well as other in-game item prizes provided by your hosts
- Have any ideas or would like to host an activity, display table, etc. of your own? Let us know! We'd love as much participation as possible to make this party the best it can be! I can be contacted here on Eventbrite, the Neopets Discord, and the Neopets Nation Facebook group.
This is a free event but any donations to help cover costs would be greatly appreciated! Can't wait to see you all soon!
(Hi! I'm Julie V., your event host. I heard about soup kitchens from Neopets when I was 7 years old. My mom explained soup kitchens existed in real life too and I was immediately heartbroken and said I wanted to work at a soup kitchen when I grew up. I ended up going to college for nonprofit communications and have worked in hunger relief for the past 10 years! I have played Neopets every step of the way for the past 25 years and am so grateful to be a party host and to use our hunger relief organization as our location. My mom has played Neopets with me my whole life as well, and she will be co-hosting! We can't wait to celebrate with you all!)
