About this Event
What do you love about Bed-Stuy? What are some of your favorite neighborhood places, resources, and living legacies?
What challenges still impact the neighborhood? What would you like to see as new investments in Bed-Stuy to further strengthen the community and improve safety and opportunity for all residents?
Join us in a community dialogue to discuss these topics and more. Network with other passionate community members and organizations, and learn about membership with the NeON Stakeholder Group!
About NeON Stakeholder Groups:
The Neighborhood Opportunity Network (NeON) is a citywide network of community-based centers in the seven neighborhoods of NYC where large concentrations of people on probation reside. NeONs serve as resource hubs through which all members of the local communities can take part in a wide range of services such as HSE classes, employment preparation, mentoring, food access, literacy programs, and also participate in arts, media, and sport programming.
Each NeON has a Stakeholder Group which is comprised of individuals from local businesses, community and faith-based organizations, residents, probation staff, clients, and community leaders. NeON Stakeholder Groups lead the development of NeON programming and act as ambassadors and a voice for NeONs in the community. Learn more at nyc.gov/neonstakeholders
