NEON stands for “No Exploitation Of Non-humans” and is an abolitionist form of activism under the umbrella of @richtiglautvegan. We are a collective of radical animal rights activists fighting for the complete abolition of all animal exploitation – whether for food, clothing, research, entertainment, pet breeding or any other purpose – and for the recognition of animal rights.
Each sign represents a species exploited by humans and makes their reality visible. Even under so-called “best conditions,” exploitation remains wrong – and we make this unmistakably clear:
Piglet in a breeding facility, exploited for its body
Budgie in a shop window, traded as a pet
Cow at the butcher's, killed for its meat
Monkey in a zoo, caged for entertainment
Pug at the vet, bred for pain as a pet
Lamb slaughtered halal, stabbed for its meat
Mouse in the laboratory, exploited for animal testing
Horse in harness, broken for entertainment
Lobster in the kitchen, overcooked for its body
Cat from the breeder, exploited for the pet trade
Rabbit in the slaughterhouse, stabbed for clothing
Turkey being loaded into a transporter, exploited for its meat
Honeybee numbered, exploited for its honey
Deer in the forest, shot for its meat
Hamster in the catalog, exploited as a pet
Sheep in the slaughterhouse, exploited for its wool
Octopus on a boat, caught for its meat
Dog in a laboratory, abused for animal testing
Mink at a fur farm, neck broken for clothing
Fish on a boat, suffocated for its meat
Head of a goat, murdered out of tradition
Chicken in front of an electric water bath, exploited for its eggs
Duck in the wild, shot for its meat
Mother cow being decapitated, sexually exploited for her milk
Head of a pig at the butcher, beheaded for its meat
Pigeon on the street exploited for its meat, labor, and entertainment, left to starve
Goose in a fattening facility exploited for its meat, tortured for its organs and feathers
