OPEN DOOR SESSIONS FREE GA TICKET HOLDERS will get a chance to purchase discounted $20 AFROJACK TICKETS for 1015 happening the same night (9-2am).
OPEN DOOR SESSIONS VIP TICKET HOLDERS will get FREE ENTRANCE to the Afrojack show at 1015 that night (9-2am). You will also be supporting different animal rescues with your purchase :)
There will be a Neon Owl multi-genre room in the basement, so we can't wait to dance the night away with you!
Open Door Sessions will be an 18+ event, and the afterparty show from 9pm-2am will be a 21+ event.

Submit your demos / competition DJ mix via Soundcloud links w/ artist and track information to: [email protected] after event registration for consideration. Limited tracks will be selected. We suggest artists to get their ticket ASAP. Also, a portion of the ticket proceeds will go towards supporting different animal rescues across the country.
If you are selected, you will get a chance to share your track with our panelists and get live feedback at our event. For VIP ticket holders that don't get selected for the main event, you will still get demo feedback from the panelists after the main event. We encourage early submission for the highest chance of being played. You will be notified 2 days prior to the event if your demo has been selected. Demos submitted after that date will still receive considered for e-mail feedback from 2 of our panelists.
YOUR TICKET WILL GO TOWARDS SUPPORTING US TO CONTINUOUSLY HOSTING THESE IN PERSON AND VIRTUAL EVENTS AS WELL AS OUR EFFORTS TO HELP SUPPORT DIFFERENT ANIMAL RESCUES ACROSS THE COUNTRY.

Open Door Sessions started as in-person events where we brought in established brands, founders, and artists, among other influencers in the industry to come teach and share with the next generation of up and coming creatives in the music industry. We’ve had guests like Andrew Rayel, MaRLo, Autograf, RAM, Ilan Bluestone, VASSY, Matt Medved, Jordan Suckley, Orjan Nilsen, Christian Burns, Monika Santucci, Sacha Robotti, and more. Some of the other brands we have had on include: Anjunabeats, Groove Cruise, Northern Nights Music Festival, Wave Music, Brownies and Lemonade, TranceFamily SF, Billboard Dance, Dash Radio, Future Factory Radio, EPIC Productions, Halcyon, 1015 Folsom, Baked Up, We Dream Worlds and more.
The range of topics we have covered ranges from building and monetization on Twitch, mental health awareness, production 101, art of DJing, music marketing, networking etiquette, women in the music biz, building an events company, to entertainment law. With every event, we also host a demo listening party, and have had a fair share of collaborations and tracks signed from our events.
Since launching Open Door Sessions, magic has been created among the attendees and our community — from countless booked gigs, networking opportunities, partnerships, to tracks signed onto labels like Armada, Reaching Altitude, Sloth Acid, and Play Me Records. We have had attendees travel the distance to be a part of such an intimate setting, and people from all over the world asking us to bring this to a city near them.
This is why we have decided to launch Open Door Sessions VIRTUAL, an online community that will open up these amazing learning experiences and opportunities to creatives all over the world!
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Neon Owl has decided to make these VIRTUAL Open Door Sessions events available to attendees to participate in for free as a way to show our support to a heavily impacted industry. However, if you are able to contribute for a VIP ticket, you will help us continue to curate events and give back to the community as well as charities around the world.
Whether you are a producer, DJ, vocalist, run your own business, or simply want to get more involved in the industry, this event is open to all!
