Counter Terrorism Session
Join us for an awareness event focused on counter-terrorism and the introduction of The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill, also known as Martyn’s Law. This event will feature presentations from Counter Terrorism Security Advisors and will include a free Action Counters Terrorism (ACT) Training session.
What is Martyn's Law? Martyn's Law, named in memory of Martyn Hett, who lost his life in the Manchester Arena attack, is proposed legislation aimed at improving security in public spaces. It requires venues and councils to take steps to reduce the risk of terrorist attacks and ensure the safety of the public.
