We are thrilled to be able to gather again for the beloved and exciting NCS Neighbours Helping Neighbours Charity Gala Night!
The NCS Gala is typically our largest fundraising event. In 2022 over $44,000 was raised in support of NCS programs, let’s beat that together in 2024!
Event Highlights Include:
- A glass of bubbles
- Delicious buffet dinner vegan and/or gluten-free options available
- An exciting live auction conducted by fabulous auctioneer Jeff Jorgenson
- A $50 portion of the ticket includes a tax deductible donation.
- Tables of 8 & 10 seats can be purchased*
- Attire: Business casual is great or if you’re itching to get dressed up, fun party clothes – suits, dresses, tuxedos – are absolutely welcome!
Nanoose Community Services (NCS) is a non-profit organization located in Nanoose Bay. We support individuals and families challenged by poverty, homelessness, food accessibility and other barriers to gain a sense of dignity, belonging and community through food programs and holiday gift giving programs. We also provide subsidies to the local Nanoose Elementary School and alternative schools to assist students with funding for programs such as extracurricular activities, school excursions, technology etc that would otherwise be unaffordable to them, as well as provide emergency funding for dental and optical care. We meet with clients monthly and provide referrals to partner agencies in the region for additional services.
NCS runs completely by volunteers and operates thanks to the generosity of donors, grants and foundations.
