NeighborWorks® Boise's Homebuyer Education course is ideal for homebuyers who will be purchasing within one year or are currently in escrow.Key information on budgeting, credit lending, real estate, inspections, insurance, and down payment programs are presented.
The monthly 6-hour course is held in-person.
The course is led by a HUD-certified counselor and industry professionals. The course material covers:
- Budgeting
- Understanding Credit
- Home Ownership Readiness
- Available Loans
- Shopping for a Home
- Purchasing Costs
- Hiring a Home Inspector
- Closing Process
HOW TO REGISTER:
(1) Visit Finally Home!® Website (Click Here: https://www.finallyhome.org/en/student-registration/)
(2) Fill out the Registration Form - Enter "Idaho," the county you live in, and fill out the remainder of the form.
(3) Select one of the NeighborWorks® Boise classes offered.
NeighborWorks® Boise's in-person classes are typically held once each month.
(4) You're Registered! Someone from the NeighborWorks® Boise team will reach out to confirm your registration.
(5) Come to your class!
The class is hosted at the NeighborWorks® Boise office, located at 3380 W Americana Terrace, Ste. 120, Boise.
A registration fee of $20 per household will be collected at the class. Cash, checks, debit/credit cards accepted. (Waivers are available!)
