The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency invites anyone interested in learning more about lead and protecting children from lead exposure to join us for a 90-minute Understanding Lead session to learn about lead using the Curriculum (commonly referred to as the Lead Awareness Curriculum).
By the end of the session, participants will recognize potential sources of lead exposure, understand its effects, know simple actions to reduce lead exposure, and understand the importance of testing children’s blood lead levels. We will save time at the end of the session for questions from participants.
To learn more and to download the curriculum, visit www.epa.gov/tribal-lead-curriculum.
This session is limited to 25 participants due to space, however we will have a waitlist in case of cancellations.
If you require special accommodations, please contact Elliott Smith at [email protected] or 202-566-0188, by October 16, 2024 to make arrangements.
