Hey @everyone — we’re hosting a mutual aid food & supply drive on Saturday, November 15th from 12–3 PM to support Umpqua Basin Food Not Bombs, who provide free meals and essential items to anyone who needs them in our community.Right now, the need is real. Because of the federal government shutdown and cuts to SNAP benefits, many people who usually receive grocery support are suddenly without it. That means more of our neighbors — including the unhoused, the housed, and working families — are going hungry.
This is not a protest; this is simply community care through mutual aid. Just us looking out for each other. 💛

🥫 WHAT TO BRING
Bring what you can — whether that’s one item or a full grocery bag. Every contribution makes a real difference.
These are the items most needed right now:
🍲 Quick Heat-and-Eat Foods
• Cup Noodles / Cup Ramen (self-contained cups)
• Canned soups (pull-tab preferred, but all types are welcome)
🥪 Sandwich Supplies
• Bread
• Deli meats
• Cheese
• Tuna packets or pull-tab cans
• Peanut butter & jelly
• Mayo & mustard
• Medium–large Ziploc bags (for take-away sandwiches)
🌯 Burrito-Making Supplies
• Flour tortillas
• Refried beans
• Shredded cheese
• Salsa
• Aluminum foil (for wrapping)
🍎 Grab-and-Go Snacks
• Granola bars
• Protein bars
• Pudding cups
• Cookies
Please ensure all donated food is not expired.
Food Not Bombs will gladly accept additional non-expired food items beyond those listed above.
