About this Event
Your City, Your Budget is a free, in-person Neighborhood Voices workshop designed to make the city budget clear, practical, and accessible. This session will walk participants through how the budget is built, where city money comes from, what it can (and can’t) be used for, and when public input matters most.
Attendees will learn how to read the city budget without getting overwhelmed, identify which departments control specific issues, and advocate effectively for neighborhood priorities. The workshop includes a hands-on activity and take-home resources.

Neighborhood leaders, renters, homeowners, and anyone interested in civic engagement or understanding how City Hall works.
