I am sure that everyone knows that Dalene & I have been involved in a fight to keep a highway "loop" out of eastern Brazos County over the past 9 months. To the point that I had considered running for county commissioner.Kyle & Beverly Greenwood were at the heart of starting & organizing this fight. I thank GOD that Kyle decided to run for the county commissioner seat so that I didn't have to. We won the battle, but if the last 9 months have taught us anything, this war is far from over. If we don't put a NON-politician like Kyle into office, all of our work will have been for nothing.
In order to help get Kyle elected, we are having an old fashioned grass-roots "meet & greet" at our house. This is an opportunity to meet the person who wants to serve YOU. Talk to him directly in an informal setting. We will have some light snacks and beverages available. You do not have to respond to this event, but doing so will help to let us know how many drinks & snacks to get.
