Join the and for an open discussion into the system at Neidpath, strengths and weaknesses.
Begin with a Farm walk to see the system at Neidpath including Bale Grazing and Johnson Su Bioreactors.
After lunch we will have a session looking into Profitability on a Regeneratively managed Upland Beef and Sheep farm. Talk through the changes over past 4 years, specifically profitability, landscape change, water quality and biodiversity.

Speaker:
Matt Griffin - After a short time shepherding in the north of England, Matt spent 14 years in New Zealand, where he did holistic management training under renowned livestock farmer Allan Savory. He now manages Neidpath Farms, a large upland livestock operation in the Scottish Borders. He lives on-site and is implementing a holistic, nature-friendly approach. Matt has changed a range of farm practices such as implementing a mob grazing system and creating fungal-rich composts to benefit the soil.
