NEGRO IMPACTO & FRIENDS is going on a mini Irish tour this summer, with an exciting lineup of artists curated by Chi-chi and Laurence themselves. The tour will see Negro Impacto bringing their renowned live show on the road to Limerick, Dundalk and Dublin, with their full band, brand new music and special guests.
NEGRO IMPACTO BIO:
Negro Impacto are an Irish duo comprising of vocalist-songwriter Chi-chi and producer, multi-instrumentalist Laurence (aka StrangeLove). Quickly making waves in the Irish music scene, they garnered attention for their distinctive alternative RnB sound, remarkable musicianship, and lively performances with full band. The duo has successfully sold out both editions of 'Negro Impacto & Friends’, graced stages at renowned festivals such as Primavera Pro, Other Voices, Ireland Music Week, Electric Picnic, Forbidden Fruit and All Together Now. They've also opened for notable artists like Madness, Ojerime, Denise Chaila, and The Mary Wallopers. Highlighted as part of the 'RTE 2FM Rising' class of 2023, they also emerged as finalists in 'A New Local Hero 2023', just some of the incredible achievements for such a young band. This summer sees their first NEGRO IMPACTO & FRIENDS tour, festival slots at All Together Now, Macalla (Wicklow’s newest festival) and more dates TBA.
PROJECTIVE BIO:
Projective, are a fresh and collaborative force based in Cork. Starting off strong with their sold out debut in The Opera House, this 7 piece group have brought together their diverse strengths to create original music with a new sound, laced with Neosoul, RnB and Hip-hop influences. Since then they have performed at The EveryMan Palace for The Guinness Cork Jazz Fest, Monroes Galway and many more, including a sold out co-headline with Syano at The Kino Cork last April. Being birthed from jam sessions in rehearsal rooms in summer 2023, projective are excited to give a taster of their music, passion and creativity, in anticipation for future releases!

PETER CURTIN BIO:
Peter is a DJ, record collector and radio documentary maker. He has been involved in radio for over ten years. He currently presents a weekly music show on RTÉ 2XM, showcasing the finest new soulful sounds from the underground. The show also features interviews and Studio 8 sessions with Irish musicians. His radio documentary work focuses mainly on outliers from the Irish music scene of the 60s and 70s. He has made programmes for RTÉ Lyric FM about Limerick beat group Granny’s Intentions, multi-instrumentalist Jolyon Jackson, and jazz pianist Noel Kelahan. His most recent production was about Limerick hip-hop and arts festival Make A Move.
