Trying to explain this workshop is harder than actually participating in it! The creativity of colours and the stencils used as your background are totally your own free rein. The style of the finished piece is also down to you as I certainly encourage your own creativity. A background is created with small stencils in acrylic paint, this is then dried. Once dry, you will create in white pencil your own perspective. There are many examples to inspire you. You will now paint around the shapes you have drawn in white (usually) paint which then makes your drawn items (trees, leaves, birds, butterflies) to pop out in an extremely pleasing, satisfying way.
