Save the Date!!Thurs 16th Oct Needlefelt a Hedgehog at Keycraft Garden Buildings (in aid of Hucknall Wildlife Group)
Yes! The hedgehog is making a come back! I will have a look at making a different version so that if anyone who came last year wanted another, you can try a different "design".
The Frog in the Craft is partnering with Keycraft Garden Buildings, Hucknall to bring you this two-hour fun, relaxed and convivial workshop: needle felt your own hedgehog.
Why a hedgehog? Well, because it's Hucknall Wildlife Group's mascot and by booking your place on this workshop and attending it, you will be helping HWG greatly because I will donate a quarter of the fee to them! HWG is a not-for-profit, apolitical group, run by volunteers. All monies raised through donations help raise awareness and promote the causes of the group as well as protection of our local flora and fauna. It is suitable for beginners, so don't worry if you have never needlefelted before, I will guide you all the way and you will soon get the hang of it. Even if it doesn't look quite the same or realistic as Henry Hedgehog who visits your garden every night... Who cares? You will have given it a go, had 2 hours of fun and a good laugh which is the positive impact of crafting!
All materials and tools (and finger protectors) are provided as well as the tuition on the day - but you will also get to keep some of that if you feel you want to have another go at home.
