Learn the art of needle felting in a cozy and festive workshop on the Botanica Patio at The Farm! In this beginner friendly class, you will learn all of the techniques needed to get you started on your own needle felting adventures. We will create four holiday animal themed ornaments and you will bring home your ornaments, wool roving, felting needles, and foam felting pad. You can create with the patterns provided or use the techniques learned to make each ornament your own!
Instructor, Madison Fuller has been teaching in many capacities since 2013 and has always had a passion for creating. She has an enthusiasm for fiber art and loves to see the joy on her student's faces when they discover that anyone can make art! She aims to instil confidence in each individual's unique ability to create and find a medium that they love. Needle felting is a fun and forgiving artform that is great for relaxation, stress relief, and creative outlet!
This workshop is beginner friendly, however anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Needle felting does involve very sharp needles, so fine motor control is necessary.
