About this Event
Grab a friend and learn something new at Aquanova Brewing. Spend an evening with fibre artist Cathy Disbrow and make your very own snowy owlet figure. This workshop is a great way to learn the art of sculpting with wool, which is stabbing wool with a special felting needle to keep those fibres in place. Owl sits approx. 3″ tall. This project is perfect for beginners and is Hedwig approved.
As this workshop is at a brewery, students must be 19+ to attend. Two drink tickets are included in the cost. There's a variety of beer, hard seltzer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Cost: $65.00 - Materials are included in the price. This includes 2 felting needles and wool to make your owlet. Foam felting pads are provided for students to use during the workshop and can be purchased separately.
