This is a brand new thing we are doing at the Museum. These classes/sessions will be dealing with certain things to know either about, homesteading, history or art. Most of these classes will be free to the public, unless we are having to bring in a special guest or pay for supplies. This year we are concentrating on Gardening and Foraging for plants. These classes will be free to the public and broke into 2 different sessions in the day.
First class starts at 11 am and goes until noon. this will deal with the things you need to know about harvesting and seed collection
Second class starts at 1PM -2PM. This class will be on Forging and what is available during this time of year.
** We would like to thank The Grayson County Library for helping this series of classes, with their Seen Library in Independence and also our Volunteers from the Master Gardeners .
