Dr. Lucker's Biography
Alyssa Lucker, DO, serves as the Medical Director for Pathlight and Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders programs in Denver, CO. Dr. Lucker attended Luther College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Nursing, and then completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami, participating in the Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Program. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Colorado. Dr. Lucker completed her Psychiatry residency program and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship program at Creighton University School of Medicine and the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Lucker has demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership and community service. She served as Chief Resident during her fellowship and was a Psychiatry Representative for the Creighton University House Staff Council. Dr. Lucker has actively participated in community initiatives, including volunteering with Siena Francis House and Habitat for Humanity. She has also contributed to research on improving opioid prescribing practices, presenting her findings at prestigious conferences like the American Psychiatric Association.
Dr. Lucker enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband, Andrew, including activities such as biking, hiking, and camping. They have two dogs: an Aussiedoodle named Henry, and a Standard Poodle named Louie. In her free time, Dr. Lucker loves gardening, particularly trying to grow vegetables, and cooking delicious meals. She also enjoys traveling to visit friends across the country.
