This conference is to bring disaster volunteers from across the state of Nebraska together to learn from, and support each other. The core volunteers will be the Citizen Corps teams in Nebraska, but we aren't stopping there! We are inviting the volunteers from other disaster organizations to join us. In turn, we will be able to learn how each group operates. Thus, creating a better understanding of what each group does and how we can work together to benefit those affected by disasters.
The conference is the first Weekend in October (October 3-5). Friday is the opening ceremonies, Saturday is for learning, and Sunday is a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Southeast Nebraska Team and closing ceremonies.
