“Nearshoring to Mexico”

presented by Rimon Law

Mexico is positioning itself as the preferred destination for US-based companies looking to relocate production to a lower-cost jurisdiction close to the US market. Mexico’s proximity to the US, the tax benefits it offers to “maquilas” and the free trade area formed with Canada and the US are among the incentives attracting nearshoring to Mexico.

Nicolas Lafont and Hector Arangua from the Rimon law firm will discuss the key commercial, tax, and legal issues that French companies face when relocating or expanding production to Mexico.
