Hey Portland friends! I'm organizing a group paddle to celebrate the full moon, and you’re invited. We will meet up at Willamette Park at 6:00pm, and hit the narrows for the sunset paddle. We’ll find a sandy beach to watch the moon set, and then paddle back by moonlight. What to bring:
• Your SUP/kayak/canoe
• PFD (required!)
• Lights for your board + backup headlamp
• Warm layers (September evenings get chilly!)
Never done a night paddle? No worries. We'll stick together and keep it mellow. And of course, experienced paddlers are welcome too.
