The Nea Onnim conference is an opportunity for stakeholders across New Brunswick and Canada to come together, connect over their shared goals, learn new strategies and best practices to address racism and systemic racism in your professional and personal communities.
The Nea Onnim conference represents the heart of BLMNB's work: Educating our communities to address the systemic inequities that exist.
This year our inaugural conference will be held in Saint John, NB at the beautiful Delta Hotel
The conference theme is "Nea Onnim" which means,“He who does not know.” It is from the Akan proverb, “Nea onnim no sua a ohu,” which translates as, “When he who does not know learns, he gets to know.”
