If I have learned anything in my 6 years of running an NDIS and Aged Care consulting agency, it's this: NDIS providers want a successful and profitable business. Am I right? I mean what would be the point in running a 'non-profitable' business? None. Exactly.
Over the years, I’ve seen successful businesses, and businesses that earn millions, but I
have also seen businesses that fail. They fail because they have:
❌ Poor or no quality management processes
❌ Total compliance CHAOS (it would take me a day to unpack that one)
❌ A shared characteristic; 'they don't know what they don't know'
❌ An abundance of problems with staff such as retention, incidents, and complaints.
One commonality among the providers I have mentioned is that their biggest concern is they are simply not making ends meet.
BUT It's easier to rectify quality, financial viability, business process bottlenecks, staffing issues and general quality of service than you think.

Gina Ingrouille is a highly experienced Principal Consultant with The Effective Group Australia and New Zealand. With a diverse career spanning over three decades, Gina's journey began in the field of oral health as a Dental Therapist before transitioning to the social welfare, and health and community services sector in the year 2000. Her passion for systems, governance, risk management, and continuous quality improvement, has fuelled a successful career in both the public and private sectors.
Gina is also an accredited auditor under multiple standards, including the NDIS Quality and Safety Standards 2018 and Health and Community Services Standards (QIC). One of Gina’s notable achievements was the analysis of the data collected from the NSW Ageing Disability and Homecare Departments - Emergency Response Program, which revealed, that if clients were not re-accommodated within 90 days of admission to the program, their likelihood of leaving the program at all diminished dramatically. This information had a significant impact on the development of the NSW Emergency Response Program Policy.
With guidance from Gina and her team, many NDIS and Aged Care providers are succeeding as NDIS and Aged Care Providers who follow the basic principles for success.
