Saturday, April 27, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church Migrant Shelter, 1770 Kearney Avenue, San Diego, CA 92113The Notre Dame Club of San Diego will celebrate ND Global Day of Service with two service opportunities-one on April 27 and another on April 30. Join fellow alumni and friends on Saturday, April 27, at 6 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church's migrant shelter. Our club will sponsor and help serve dinner that night. We will also be assembling travel packs for the migrants and help with other needs of the shelter. Participation is capped at 20 volunteers. All volunteers will receive a free Global Day of Service t-shirt. We thank you for your service to this vulnerable community and for respecting the dignity of all lives.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Migrant Ministry offers shelter, dinner, and breakfast to Spanish-speaking migrant men who either have no destination (no sponsor) or who need to work for some time to earn money to travel to their destination. Our capacity is limited to 35 individuals, on a first-come, first-serve basis, based on arrival by 6:30 pm. There is a limit to the number of days a migrant may stay to be no more than 30 days.
