Getting to grips with the early months of motherhood can be quite a challenge - both practically and emotionally. But don't worry, NCT Early Days courses will give you the knowledge and confidence to tackle the doubt all new mums struggle with to some extent.Our NCT Early Days course will to be a great way for you to get to know other new mums in your local area. These courses are for mums to attend, and it goes without saying that you’re welcome to have your baby with you during the sessions. Please do whatever works best for you and what you’re most comfortable with.
Your course leader, Helen, has been working with new parents and their babies for more than 20 years and always seeks to provide balanced, evidence-based information to help parents feel confident when making decisions about their baby.
Topics typically covered in an NCT Early Days course with Helen are:
* Sleep and routines
* Baby development
* Returning to work
* Introducing solids
* Finding your own parenting style
However, there’s always a strong focus on the personal experiences of group members and topics suggested by them. Helen aims to tailor the content to meet the needs of each group individually.
The cost of this course is £75, which is for both you and your baby to attend. We offer discounted rates to those on low income or on certain means tested benefits. You must pre-book before attending.
