🎄 Newy Night Ride for Christmas 2025! 🎄Hosted by Newcastle Cycleways Movement
Join us on Saturday 20 December for a festive, family-friendly Newy Night Ride to celebrate the season in style! It’s time to light up the cycleways, spread some cheer, and enjoy a relaxed Christmas pedal through Newcastle.
🕢 Meet: From 7:30pm at Honeysuckle Marina — the area between Rydges Newcastle and the Honeysuckle restaurant strip, just off Workshop Way.
🚴 Ride rolls out: 7:45pm
✨ What to expect:
Dress up your bike with lights, tinsel, baubles — the brighter the better! We’ll cruise along Newcastle’s cycleways and quiet streets, checking out Christmas lights, making a cheerful spectacle, and enjoying the best of the city at night. Like we did last year, we will ride as a group down Beaumont St in Hamilton, and a section of the 30km/h cafe zone of Darby St.
